Healthwatch Isle of Wight worked in partnership with the IOW Safeguarding Adults Board to produce a film about mate crime. The film was developed with the involvement of local people to raise awareness of mate crime and was presented at the IOW Annual Safeguarding conference in March 2017.
Since then the film has been published on Youtube and has been shared with Martin Clarke Learning & Development Manager at TACT (UK's largest Fostering and Adoption charity) who said: 'Thanks for sharing this excellent quality and very informative film' and the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) has tweeted about the film to their 27.5K followers.
