Healthwatch Isle of Wight 10 Year Anniversary

The health and social care landscape has changed a lot in ten years, but thanks to you taking the time to share your story with Healthwatch Isle of Wight, we've been able to champion your voice to help improve care.

You've taken the time to share your experiences, good and bad, and asked that we do something to address the barriers to access you've faced. 

Together, we're making health and social care better for everyone. 

Join us on Wednesday 19th April 2023 at 2pm-5pm for our to celebrate all that we’ve achieved together for the people in our community. 

There will be guest speakers from the IOW NHS Trust and the IOW Council and there will also be a cake competition open to anyone attending the event. Cakes should be themed around Health and/ or social care and people attending the event will be able to sample the cakes on the day. Donations can be made to the IOW Alzheimers Cafes.

Public health and care champion Healthwatch Isle of Wight has a new name at the helm after eight years of dedicated service draws to a close for its former chairman.

Bob Pitts, currently a Non-Executive Director at Healthwatch Isle of Wight has taken over the role of chairman from Chris Orchin who has held the post since 2015.
